Is it really an entire year since I posted news? Holy moly – so much has happened since February 2025!

Setting up the Centre for Mad Culture UK has taken up much of my time and attention. We held a successful launch event in October; later I was joined for Edinburgh’s Hogmanay celebration with my good friend Matt Bodett of the Center for Mad Culture. And we have been planning a range of events for 2026, including meetups, book groups, an open mic night, a film night and a conference in Glasgow on the topic of madness and creativity.

But just now we need your help. We have commissioned a research project with Ruth Stevenson of Ruthless Research, in the hopes of gathering as much feedback as possible to inform our future work. Please please please – if you can spare just 5-10 minutes to share your views, it would be so greatly appreciated and valued.
